At Palmer Food Services we are committed to protecting your privacy.  We use the information we collect about you to process transactions and to provide better service, and ultimately a more personalized experience.  Please read on for more details about our privacy policy.

Palmer Food Services does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.  Also, Palmer Food Services may provide aggregate statistics about customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to our affiliated companies or reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.  Palmer Food Services may release account information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of Palmer Food Services, our users, or others.

When you request transactions with Palmer Food Services, we need to know certain information to fulfill your request and notify you of your request status.  This information includes but may not be limited to e-mail address, financial institution name and routing and transit number, and your financial institution account number.  Depending upon the requested transaction, some of the information that we ask you to provide will be mandatory and some voluntary.  If you do not provide the mandatory information, your requested transaction will not be processed.

When you perform a transaction, we use that information to record and support the transactions that you request.  We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the Internet-based portion of our business, as well as the design and layout of Palmer Food Services web site.

We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the web site, new services and special offers.  If you would rather not receive this information, please contact us by using the feedback option on our site.  Be sure to notify us for each e-mail address you have provided.

We may also group data that pertains to particular ZIP and postal codes, and the requested transactions from each domain name to assist us in marketing.  We then aggregate this anonymous data and apply an algorithm that constructs lists of transactions that are more popular with each specific group than with the general population.  None of the data is associated with any individual's name.  If you, your company or your organization do not want to participate in this type of marketing analysis, please contact us using the feedback function.

When you access your Palmer Food Services information or request transactions, we offer the use of a secure server.  This independent third-party 48-bit secure socket layer (SSL) in our server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.  Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Cookies received from Palmer Food Services do not contain any personally identifying information, but they may enable us to provide additional features to aid you in requesting transactions.  Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that.
